Attention!

property owners seeking to protest your property tax value:

Thank you for enrolling!

Due to the pending deadline for filing protest today (May 15, 2023), we will not be able to file your protest if your protest deadline is on May 15th. However, you can still sign up as our client and we can still represent you.

  • If your Value Notice is dated on or before April 15th, your protest deadline is May 15th, and you will need to file your own protest. Please file your own protest at this time.
  • If your Value Notice is dated April 16th or after, the deadline to file protest on your property valuation is 30 days from your noticed appraisal. O’Connor can still file your protest if you complete enrollment at least three days prior to the date your protest is due.

If your deadline to file a protest is May 15th or you are unsure, click here to download the form to file your own protest https://www.poconnor.com/universal-form-file-tax-protest/

There are different methods for submitting your protest to different counties (i.e., online filing, mail, in person, etc.). Please visit your county appraisal district website or contact them directly to learn more. As long as you are able to submit your properly completed protest form to the county by end of business today (May 15th ) or have your properly completed protest form post marked with today’s date (May 15th ), you will have submitted your protest form on time to protest your value.

If you filed your own protest, we require 10 days advance notice to guarantee our presence at your hearing. Please call our office to speak to a customer support representative if your hearing will take place in less than 10 days.

Please submit any correspondence you receive from the county regarding property tax matters to us from this point on so that we may be able to represent you at your property tax hearing. Our customer service team will be sending you a new client package with important forms for you to complete.

Thank you for your business. We look forward to fighting for lower tax values on your behalf.
